Thanks for introducing me to old jazz, good whiskey, and the best golf courses on the east coast.

It's one person. He doesn't need to alert himself.

That’s a baseless assumption, my friend.

I just took a break from some work to watch part of The Open and naturally looked at the OT. I was surprised to see my name. S, my TD son, you are too kind.

As the oldest of 5, I contacted my two brothers this morning to wish them a Happy Father’s Day and then texted my son (whose name, like yours, starts with an “S” as he was named after me) to wish him a Happy first Father’s Day. A couple of months ago he and his wife told me that they were expecting their first child in October. So, in the month after I turn 67 I will be a grandfather. I’m pretty excited about that and it’s good because I still feel like a kid.

It’s been a wonderful week. My girl from Boston came down last Saturday and left today. It was great to see her.

I still miss my Dad who died in 2003, but nobody gets out alive.

I thank all in this thread who have said kind words about me.

I hope all the Dads of the OT enjoy the day, especially those who are celebrating for the first time. Remember, any guy can become a "father", it takes a good man to be a "Dad".
