On April 30, 1812, Louisiana joined the union and became the 18th state. Today makes 207 years of statehood.

Until we seceed from north Louisiana and create our own state, South Louisiana. Then North Louisiana will make Mississippi look great.

For all its problems, LA truly is the most interesting state in the union. A melange of cultures that no other state has.

I live in north La and I’d be fine with that. Can south La folks stop coming up here and telling us every 5 minutes about their Cajun accents? We get it, you talk different, nobody up here cares.

Will they agree to stop coming up here during hunting season and acting like fools and shooting everything that moves?
Also, will they stop using alternative sentences griping about North Louisiana and then griping that North Louisiana players won't automatically go to LSU?
