Dwight is one of the greats. He is under appreciated by the masses.

I believe he was at one time married to Bridget Fonda back when she was a smoke show. The man has done well for himself regarding the ladies.

Guitars and Cadillacs Etc., Etc...every song is great. Fabulous first album. Mid-80s. Saw him in BTR around that time.

One of my favs you never hear, real honky tonk: It won't hurt when I fall down from this barstool

I have seen him in concert 4 times. Love some Dwight

Saw him at Houston’s Arena Theater in 2019. The stage at that venue is in the center and rotates. He put on an excellent show. We arrived a little late and came face to face with Dwight outside when he was entering the stadium. He gave the wife and me a “how ya’ll doing tonight?”

He was the one act to make it into the mainstream from the SoCal Cowpunk scene of the eighties.

Mary Chapin Carpenter wrote a song about him being an a-hole called “Opening Act”.

His interviews that he does on his Sirius Bakersfield Beat channel is pretty interesting if you’re in to music history and the west coast scene.
