City aid programs halted as IG probes Cantrell's 'mayor's fund'
Forward Together New Orleans has not been able to pay bills for some of Cantrell’s prized social welfare programs.
nonprofit started by Mayor LaToya Cantrell has frozen its accounts after receiving a subpoena for financial records from the New Orleans Office of Inspector General, leaving several city-sponsored social programs that depend on funding from the organization in limbo.
Dana Henry, an attorney representing the board of Forward Together New Orleans, confirmed the subpoena for records was served Sept. 8, and that the nonprofit has stopped using its operating account.

Yep. I just saw that. They froze all her programs insinuating that she might be funneling money from her programs and non profits to her campaign and personal accounts.
Inspector General is on the case that means US Attorney is right behind him.

While this has been going on for decades, the taxpayer will spend multiple millions of dollars to find out she hoarded a few million in side, and kickback money. Then it would cost millions more to prove, , convict, and more court coat to even try and associate others in on it.
That’s how the progs know the game, and know!! The end isn’t worth the means. It would. OST more to try and fix it than it what the community will have funds for or able to spend!!
