Yes it was. It had gotten to that point. He was going nuts and she was trying to move out of state with the kids. And I can attest to her being bat shite crazy.
The story is long and it wasn't her first slip up (it takes many for a judge to grant full custody to the father), but it was to the point where he was in danger of losing his 2 yr battle but there was one way to solidify the result he needed. LOL...a but of a gamble, but not when you are dealing with a complete moron like she was.

Thanks for the legitimate advice. I've heard the bleach/re-dye method from a few people now. I'm going to do that and use a masking agent on the day of the test. Wish me luck.

I should have put 'in the grand scheme of things'.
Additionally, it is a gravy job with good pay and a company car. Losing out on the opportunity would be a temporary inconvenience, not the end of the world.

Uh..thanks I guess, lol. Look man, before my friend died (SECON guy), I could bounce anything off of him that I wanted and received no bullshite answers.
My friend with the custody stuff was also a couple years ago at least!
There are variables including advanced technology that might be a negative.
If I were you, I would go to a place for myself, preferably after finding out what sort of test your new place runs, and pay my own money to have the test done on myself to see what shows up.
If you are still smoking, they will detect the masking agents you use to mask your urine, which I assume you have planned as well.
Good luck and let me know where to send my friend to apply after you fail,

So what you are saying is your dad is going to be pissed if you fail the drug test since he got you the job.

how much does it pay?
is this job something that your new degree is going to get you?

typical OT statement but you need to make sure that you include the words "upper six figures" next time.

typical stoner statement/attitude, cant give you any advice on how to better that practice but it seems you pretty much have it nailed
You will fit in just fine here

What if I bleach and/or dye my hair? Can I get rid of the drugs?
No. The drugs are IN the hair, not ON it. Drugs are actually incorporated into the hair shaft from the bloodstream. Severe chemical washing and bleaching removes drugs on the hair, and may, in some cases, lower the level in the hair slightly, but it will not remove the drug completely. As a matter of fact, before we do our confirmatory testing, we wash the hair and test the washes to make sure all the drug is off the outside of the hair before we continue, so that we are assured that any drug we find is from within the hair. Hair coloring has no effect on the testing.

To be fair, Obama never had a job before the country elected him to the highest possible office.

I just have to pay-off some debt and get some capital with a regular job first.

Exactly. OP doesn't get that we all think he's an idiot for smoking when applying for a job, not because he smokes. I'd think he's just as dumb if he shows up to the interview drunk.

Funny, but no. I've had no support from my parents for 16yrs. I've been on my own since my senior year of high school. My parents have no connections.

Ok, looking past your stupidity and assumptions you made without any research about drug testing procedures in the work force, one question.
. What is the time line of your pot smoking? How often, how much and how long ago did you smoke?
These tests do have cutoff levels, and it may be less risky to gamble on the test than risk tainting the sample.

Yeah, it seems as if he's just looking for a platform to spout his beliefs about legalizing weed.
"Who cares if I go home and smoke a joint?"
"Why should my employer care if I smoke?"
"It's less harmful than cigarettes and alcohol."
"It makes me more enlightened."
Those are all irrelevant points. The only thing that matters in this case is this: you are applying for a job that has a certain policy, and you violated that policy. Now you have to face the music. Period.
