When I worked at Lockheed, ~2003-ish timeframe, they rolled out a diversity video...some guy east of us in MS watched it, went out to his truck and got his shotgun, went back in and killed at least one person.

Like, frick you...if that's the way it is I'm going OUT.

The companies that are selling package HR suites are making a fortune. In all seriousness I am driving over to Las Colinas tomorrow to attend a workshop packed with HR directors all under the rouse of SHRM credits. I'm not in HR but I helped place a pretty large number of attendees... the company paid me $400.00 a head just to get them there to listen. They have 2 sessions a month... it's easy side/mad money for little to no effort due to the 8 CE credit premise.

Pretty much any fortune 500 company worth a shite and many more as well as all of the oil companies have had this kind of stuff for quite a while now.
Franks muffler repair shop obviously doesn't, but that's understood.

Seriously, I don't agree with how far it's gone now with how much stuff is offensive, but when you work for big companies and work with people all over the world, you kind of get used to this kind of stuff.

Recently went to a national insurance convention and they have a diversity task force. It was awful.

I work for a major corporation and we have to do that as well

When I hire someone we have to have a meeting with HR and they tell us who we can hire based on quotas we have to meet. Minority, female, etc

We don't bother with that stuff. Our workforce and our customer base are both diverse and we somehow manage just fine without SJW preaching. It's kind of weird how simply being courteous and respectful covers all bases.
