Neighbor is using my property as a shortcut to walk his bulldogs at a nearby park. One is leashed because he admits it bites, The other is free range and didn’t obey his commands. This section of property is very narrow so the dogs are within 10-20 feet of every person and pet at our camp yesterday for a crawfish boil, 20 people including my 8 year old daughter plus our three dogs. I can understand if the guy came through once, realized we were there, then avoided the area. But he comes back so I pick up the crawfish paddle and put myself between the unleashed dog and everyone there, while everyone is scrambling to get our dogs inside. I’m staring this dog down and the owner says “don’t hit my dog”. I respond “that’s not a dog it’s a predator”.

I know people who own pits that understand the risks and take the proper precautions, even though I question their intelligence. This guy is the opposite of that. I hope he’s unsettled enough by my antics to pick a new path. We rent this place out through Airbnb and I’m not there all the time so I don’t want this guy roaming through.

Leave an Easter egg with a dry turd inside on his front porch. He’ll back off.

Good line, look forward to it being delivered by a A list actor. Great screenplay!

Your property? You have every right to tell him to get the dog the heck outta here. Use this line next time: "If that dog sets foot on my property again, I'm gonna body bag him".

50 percent of the time, it works every time.

Start by learning the difference between a bulldog and a staffordshire terrier.

This shite annoys the shite out of me. Who cares if your dog is trained or not...nobody else knows that. So just put it on a fricking leash when its around people in public.

My parents took my son (2.5) to the park a couple weeks ago. They were the only ones there until a frail old lady pulled in and three dogs got out of her car with her. None of the dogs were leashed...two huge dogs and one small one she was holding. The dogs immediately take off to a field right behind the playground equipment. So my parents got my son on top of the slide part and the lady was like "Oh, don't worry they are nice and don't bite." Then after a little small talk the lady admits that they're not even her dogs, they are her son's dogs. And she says that one of the dogs is "kinda crazy" and doesn't listen for shite.

I was furious when they told me that story and asked them to simply try to leave as soon as possible next time. They said they had to wait a few minutes until the dogs were far enough away because the equipment was a little ways away from the parking lot where the car was.

But if you know you can't control your dogs, be fricking responsible and manage them better. The main thing that worried me was that if one of those dogs decided to attack my son (or parents), none of them could've really defended themselves/each other (my parents are older) if things went bad. Sure, I know that it's more than likely not going to happen, but I absolutely cannot stand irresponsible pet (especially dog) owners. Huge pet peeve (no pun intended) of mine.

'Don't hit my dog'?

I'm sorry? If it comes down to a vicious dog charging the family?

Only if it dodges the buckshot, pal.

You made the correct call

Just moved away from a shitty neighbor with a pitbull who always was trying to get into my yard to fight my golden-malamute.

He got in one time and I had to jump in and rip him off my dog’s back. Luckily he’s a fluffy moron so he had minimal marks, and didn’t realize what was happening. Had to hold that pitbull in a headlock until the owner came running outside from the commotion.

Up until I moved this weekend I always kept a brick by the hole in the fence, so if the pitbull tried again I could just smoke him one good time up the head

frick pitbulls and frick assholes who try to rehabilitate those out of control animals

Edit: I tried fixing the hole but my landlord was shitty. Just moved into my own home so that shite won’t fly on my property

Don't put your hands up to its mouth and you'll be fine. It's just a bulldog. You must be one of them cat people.
