Chevron that my parents would bring home when I was a kid. Ive got a few in my office...remind me of the good old days when companies still gave this type of stuff out. I don't need anymore fricking polo shirts.

Had the helmet as well.

So you buy 8 gallons and you still have to buy the tanker for $3.98?
$3.98 was a lot back then. The 8 gallons was a lot cheaper.

Don't remember the tanker. My buddies had helmets though. My parents were Gulf people so I had the little Gulf tank truck..."sad face".

That looks like it's a ways before my time. But I do still have this keychain. I keep it on my spare.

I remember the trucks. My dad would buy me them all the time.

I don't remember the tanker but my dad still complains about spending all Christmas Eve putting this gas station together for us. Apparently it had an insane number of parts.

I still have this that I had as a kid(though in beat up condition):

My dad still has his tanker truck from when he was a kid. It's probably from the late 50's and is in pristine condition.

This was a Humble Oil promotion - wish I hadn't thrown mine away years ago.

I remember the full service stations.
I worked at the full serve Gennusa's Texaco in Mandeville during high school. The poors would come in and buy $3 of gasoline (2 gallons) and want us to wash all the windows, check all the fluids and fill up the tires. Meanwhile, the self serve was one pump island over where they could get twice the gas for their money. But they liked to show off and get the full serve.

I have an all metal Texaco tanker truck that was my dad's as a kid. Those old toys are worth a ton. The one we have is worth around $325.
