The best answer is usually the simplest. I actually believe that almost everything we have been told by Commander and others in the family is true. I think his wife did die from a surgery and they are certainly without money to bury her. I think Commander started a gofundme expecting to get a little money out of it, logged off, went on a drug bender, and went to the ER. I'm confident Commander is a drug addict on a bender. I don't know if Sonya is, but I do know that she has been incredibly rude and ungrateful to the people who raised 22k for her sister. Therefore I can't trust either of them to be responsible for disbursing my donation to the funeral home and children and I asked for a refund. Simple as that.
This is 100% what happened. Especially since we don’t even know if Commander Data put his correct bank info in the GoFundMe when setting it up.
They will get the money, it will just take some time for GFM to confirm it all...but with other family now all wanting the cash ASAP it’s going to draw more red flags and delay it more.
Sad situation all around

I am pretty confident houses in Alabama do not have basements. That should have been clue number 1 he was lying.

I don't know many houses in the south that have basements. Most are on piers or slab on grade.

More and more are showing up. Two of my closest neighbors have basements. One of them is a house that was built in the late 60s. Full remodel in the past year or two. The basement is now an entertainment room with a full bar.
Great place to ride out a tornado.

At this point, the original CD profile could be anyone who does or doesn't have a wife. I do think KentuckyGirl is the same person the original coherent CD was, but I guess I don't entirely understand why he would have switched over to that account and had the loony toon family member take over his.
