I am so sorry for what happened to her. Hopefully this response from this community/family shows you that you are not alone. This place, as interesting as it can be at times, is full of really good people who are willing to help someone in need. I love this place. I'm glad you reached out to everyone.

You owe it to your wife to take care of those kids. You are going to have to manage the fear, sadness, uncertainty and doubt that is coming. It will not be easy but there are better ways to deal with it than others. What has always helped me is breaking it down into manageable measurements of time. You define manageable for you. Set a time that you can make it through. There have been times when I had to tell myself I can get through the next minute. Once you can do that move it to something else manageable, say 10/20/30 minutes, an hour, etc. You will get to the point when you can bump it to a day, a week, and so on. You have to keep going, at a minimum for the kids' sake, as well as yours. Find out what you can manage and work with it. It will get easier with time. If you need help, please ask for it here. There are more than enough people here who can help you get the help you need.

You and your family are in my prayers.

I can't imagine going through this.

That would be awesome. Especially if his kids are younger and still do Santa.

I was waiting to get an age for his kids and see if he would let be bring them some gifts to him. I have no idea on how to set up a PO box or anything. I was thinking I could have anyone who wanted to send something, just ship it to my shop and I could load it all up and drive it to him one day. I'm in Oxford, which is only 30-45 mins to Gadsden so it would be pretty easy.

But if they're young enough to still do Santa and you have a suit, that would be pretty cool for them. Idk, I'd certainly like to try and make their Christmas better. Maybe it can bring them just a little bit of happiness in this horrible situation.

We need to get the ok from him and I can get the PO Box setup tomorrow.

I say anyone from TD that wants to meet up in Gadsden on 12/19, let’s do this. My email is DamGuideTD@gmail.com.

Eric Zappe ($1,500), Robert Richardson ($896), LC412000 ($500), and Texn ($350) all deserve a shout out. Over $3,000 given by 4 people. That's true OT Baller status right there.

Sorry brother. This saddens me to hear. Trust me, this makes you a bigger man to ask for help. Please find some men close to you to talk to about this if at all possible. This can be from a local church or other kind of organization. No one can handle this stuff alone.

Be there for your kids and you will experience kinder days, I promise you.

God bless you, brother.

Commander, are your girls in need of anything right now, Christmas wise? I'm willing to buy some gifts for them.

I’m broke as joke right now but if I can buy one gift for Christmas, it’ll be for his little girls. Please find a way for us to do that, Amazon wish list, whatever.

That is what Christmas is about. That family needs a reason to smile that morning, even if just for half a second.

I’m sorry to hear of your loss, Commander. Between this and the suicide thread, it really puts my shitty little problems in perspective.

Don’t know we need to email him to find out, probably will need to start a separate thread for this.

As crazy as things can get around here, there are a lot of good people on this board. I can't imagine what this guy is going through, but this board has sure took some burden off of his back. That's awesome!

This board has been amazing in these situations. Hemphill's nephew, raising money for Colton, etc. And it's come from all different fanbases.
