Yeah, I'd kill that guy if he was "dating" my daughter that was thirteen. 14 wouldn't bother me if they were in the same school (senior/freshmen), but that's not the case.
I'm not a fan of vigilante justice, but if my kid has been ran over, it would be hard not to beat him.
Though the only detail I can confirm with this story, was that this guy is a pos. As far as hitting the kid, what was his speed? Did he swerve? Is he being charged? Had he said something to the people in the neighborhood before he hit the kid? Was it a coincidence that he hit a black child while flying a confederate flash on his truck, in a place that has no business being attached to the flag?
Pass the popcorn, fellas.

A finally saw the last paragraph. So he was a dumb redneck who had been provking the neighborhood regularly, by driving around a black neighborhood in his pickup and the flag.
They probably wanted to kick his arse weeks ago. Then he hits one of their kids with his truck on accident (I'll assume that, since he did stop to check on the kid). So they recognize the guy and his truck, and whip his arse. If anything, they took it pretty easy on him. Some bruises and a chipped tooth is minor considering how pissed and reactionary they were.
He's lucky they didn't kill him and beat up his extremely underage girlfriend. If it, weren't 2015, and was 50 years earlier, they both might be dead. If the races in the situation were reversed, the driver would be hanging from a tree in many of places.

That's what is so funny about it. you can't claim southern pride, when you're in the coldest, northern state possible. Minnesotans are basically Canadians that still watch football.
