That question was kinda bullcrap lol.

That’s a ridiculous first question.

They actually played a mind trick on him. Kind of underhanded, really.
I noticed that too. I don’t know if things have changed since I was younger, but the “D” answer to the first question was always the joke answer to prompt a chuckle from the audience.

I would have gotten this wrong as well. They sell meatballs in IKEA?
Posted on 6/23/21 at 7:29 am to Ross
I guessed it right. It made sense. IKEA is a furniture store, which accounts for the kitchens. Meatballs because they are a Swedish company.
Never been to an ikea but I connected the dots.

Such a random question that doesn’t really equate to intelligence at all. I don’t think I’d have gotten it right either.

My god these questions have gotten DUMB.

Maybe a dumb question, but why anyone would just associate expensive kitchens with Rome is weird. It just takes a bit of common sense to know that IKEA is the only plausible answer even if you've never been. Also "a meatball break" in quotes should have been a bit of a flag.

Italy is only one of the premier culinary hotspots of the world.
And meatballs...spaghetti and meatballs. Guessing Rome wasn't exactly going out on a limb.

A couple of weeks ago a chick was on Mental Samurai (the Rob Lowe gameshow on Tuesday nights) and bragging that she had a 152 IQ, missed one of the first questions.
IQ 152 Lisa misses simple question

If these people were that smart, they'd get on Jeopardy!.

I would have gotten that shite wrong too. IKEA? Are you fricking kidding me.
Yeah I was fricking clueless... my wife was like "IKEA!" as I'm re reading the question for the 3rd time. What kind of question is that???? What happened to like history questions or geography???

Usually the first 3-4 questions are easy lob questions.
If that's what counts as an easy question, then I wouldn't stand a chance either. Wtf is a meatball break and why is that a thing at a furniture stores.
