N.O. is waaayyyy better than many of the tards in this thread realize. The stuff that has happened in positive way in the city in the past 10 years is amazing. Just need a small group of cock roaches to get killed or arrested at a much faster pace and things can go in a much faster way upward.

Well until the curuption with politicians and the police stops then they can fix the citizens. The education system in the city is horrible so it adds to the constant crime problem.

This mindset is the problem. The city of New Orleans has bent over backwards since Katrina trying to improve the education footprint and the results have all been positive.

The education system is light years better than it was pre Katrina, thanks to a ton of money coming in and state taking over most of the schools. The corrupt ignorant fcks on the old school board were worthless pond scum for the most part.
Now we have schools doing better in general and some really good magnet and charter schools.
Of course a whiner like you wouldn't know about bettering yourself and helping to make the city better, you just want to blame others.

All the other causation arguments aside, if this happens a couple of more times I can see New Orleans ending up with security like many high end restaurants and shops I have visited in the Middle and Far East where they have armed security guys sitting out front on stools. It is definitely effective but you end up absorbing the cost on your dinner bill.
