Suing because someone took their photograph while they were outside?
Sadly reading comprehension is lacking for many members of the OT.
Everyone that is yelping does not realize that the photographer as all of the protesters were trespassing.

People take photos in shopping malls all the time and that is private property.

If the street is in fact a "private" street, it still is not the property of the homeowners. The homeowners may not have any personal standing to claim trespass or any other offense.
It absolutely is owned by the homeowners. That’s why it is gated. They pay the maintenance it is not publicly accessible. You have to own property or be invited.
A mall is publicly accessible. A gated community is not.
You must have fallen on your fricking head.

IIRC, her pistol had been rendered inoperable for it to be used as a prop in court in a case the husband was involved in.

From the article in the link:
I'll admit I've not followed this incident only casually, but that's the first I've read of "evidence tampering." Does anyone have more insight to this statement?

I think what's awesome is that these two USED to be liberal attorneys. BLM flipped them

when a few hundred marchers veered onto the private street near the the McCloskeys’ $1.15 million home
And by veered, they broke down a gate and went on a witch hunt for the McCloskeys neighbor.

I support their right to have guns and defend their property but they seem so unlikable to me

How many can you name that are not a semiauto or a revolver?
Aren’t competition pistols single shot?
You are right. Semiautomatic is a little unnecessary. But I have a revolver bias.

The trustees of the HOA control the common areas, and they decided not to prosecute for trespassing over the couple’s objection.
That’s what I read at least.
If the photog was on those same common areas, the HOA, not the couple, would own the trespassing claim, right?

Slow fire ie Free Pistol aka ISSF 50m Pistol uses single shot pistols among other disciplines. I have a Morini free pistol but haven't shot it competitively since college. But free pistols are an extreme niche most gun enthusiasts have never seen one in the steel much less shot one.
There are actually quite a few single-shot pistols the Thompson Contender probably being the most well known. They are primarily a hunting weapon and has been around for 50 years or so. They can be chambered for anything from .22 LR to some massive center fire cartridges.

Me too. My favorite is my .357 S & W 686. It’s heavy enough that if crack someone in the head with it you don’t have to shoot them.

That’s my sidearm. Love it.
