Gun reportedly pulled during heated confrontation at Denham Springs Sam’s Club

A witness tells UWK that she saw an argument at the entrance of the Sam’s Club near Bass Pro escalate with a man pulling a gun on a female customer. According to the witness, the confrontation began when the two customers attempted to enter the store.

UWK also spoke to an employee at Sam’s Club, who asked to remain anonymous. The employee explained that the man and woman exchanged words and it got heated. “That’s when the woman’s husband comes up and he hits the man, he punches the man. When he punches the man, he pulls his gun,” said the employee. The employee said the man had his grandson with him and put his gun away. After that, the man left the store with his grandson and Denham Springs PD arrived minutes later and watched the surveillance video.

UWK contacted the Denham Springs Police Department, which confirmed that a disturbance involving two customers had occurred. They said no one was arrested and do not expect to make any arrests tied to the incident. They did not add any further details to UWK.

UWK has learned that officials believe both parties were in the wrong. Meanwhile, given that it was a Sunday afternoon, many people are shopping. The scene alone left the witness terrified not knowing what was happening. Guy with gun had to be kin folk to the PD for no charges.. WTF?
