Nope, not him. Yup, you were wrong.

Mind boggling that people like your great grandfather grew up with horse drawn wagons and passed away during the nuclear war/space travel age

I knew two of my great grandparents. One died when I was a toddler and the other died when I was 10 at 96 years old. The rest died before I was born.

He lived quite a while after Nannie passed. Did he ever remarry?

I knew one of my great-grandmothers. She was 99 when she passed. I knew neither of my grandfathers nor great-grandfathers.

No i didnt know him or ever meet him. He never remarried.
Yes it amazing a person could be born in horse and buggy days and live to see the atom bomb and nuclear energy.
I do have a few pics and ledgers from his business 100 years ago... ill post a pic of them later.

And he would tell you mind boggling is having a hand held device that can communicate with another person on the other side of the planet. It also can provide every answer known to man available at the touch and swipe of a screen.

Did he move to Argentina later in life?

My Grandpa couldn’t get over Waitr
We would talk about what we wanted for lunch & after about 10 minutes he’d ask if I was going to go ahead & call to order
