Not just one reason. S/D, weather (droughts), people losing the tradition of farming, rearing pussy arse kids that can’t work, etc. Oh, it’s expensive to maintain cattle as well.

Rouses has whole chuck rolls on sale for $5.19/lb today and tomorrow. Lots of different cuts of beef although no "steak" except for chuck-eyes (which are every bit as good as ribeye imo).
