And it isn't like they are all independent joints operated by random people in different cities. They are a legit organized crime group who set up the spas in different cities and control the areas. They send guys around every couple weeks to make collections and take care of problems. How do I know? Two different DAs have told me the same thing. If a Joe Blow District Attorney from a podunk county knows the particulars of what is going on, you can bet that the Feds know a hell of alot more. Yet, we've seen very little movement on it in years.

The assumptions and projection are truly something to behold 
I see plenty of looney on both sides of the isle being from BR and living in Boulder for a while, and will do my best to stay somewhere in between those two far-end extremes
ETA - I rent my place in Boulder and primarily live in Wyoming during the summer and Tennessee or Kentucky for fall/winter/spring. I am far from some diehard democrat or hardcore progressive y'all may incorrectly assume me to be

That is neither a “quick bandaid”, nor is it an expedient fix, therefore no one cares about it.
It is easier to rant against the 2nd Amendment than it is to focus on what is actually causing these issues.
Same thing is seen in regards to ever issue our society faces.
Rather than addressing the base cause of issues, from financial/economic to violence, we instead avoid any and all tough discussions and shoot for solutions that will NEVER fix the issues.
I truly am beginning to believe that this “democratic experiment” of ours simply isn’t functional.
