i posted it in the other thread but last week the CDC finally relented and said stop having casual gay sex. it was a growing moment for all of us.

i'm sure come 2023 they'll finally admit we're in a recession that was caused because we didn't pass BBB and the Inflation (that wasn't happening, then that was transitory, and then was caused by Putin) Reduction Act too late

Gay men in monogamous relationships don't really have anything to worry about. Just stop the casual sex with multiple partners all the fricking time.

Just making sure the new generation starts out fricked like the millennials before them.

This generation getting in the workforce now are going to probably revolt at some point. They spent their best years "socially distancing" and now are entering the workforce when homes are unaffordable and jobs are becoming more scarce.

I’m going to be really curious about all the HR, DIE, and project managers that are just pushing emails around.

Program, Product Managers, “Senior” Managers, Sales/marketing, and Vendor people are always the first to go. SDE’s with core competencies at Apple, Microsoft and Netflix are certainly safe. Those companies are not letting go of talent that is hard to replace so they can go to a competing FAANG.

Yep. One of the first things bigger companies do is cut back on major capex initiatives, so projects get mothballed and project people get cut.

And of course the sales and vendor teams suffer when that happens so they go too.

I don’t understand this. Biden said we have the best economy in the history of the world! The lowest unemployment of all time! How can this be? ??????

I'm so hoping for a red run at the midterms. Stop some of this insanity.

You might see a “red run” one day…..but nothing will ever be allowed to threaten the ruling class again. Look what they are doing to Trump right now.

lot of those companies were likely bloated in the first place.

Right. 51% having layoffs but 64% increasing compensation. Seems like they just trimming the fat. Sounds great for the competent workers.
