Think about the people applying for those jobs these days. It's a low paying thankless job that puts people under a microscope. Does that sound like a job a bright young altruistic man/woman will be in a hurry to apply for? It is only going to get worse.

frick YOU. You are a piece of shite.

No one is above the law, especially those who are charged with enforcing it. They should be held to the HIGHEST standards.

Reading comprehension is hard. I'm for the cop being arrested and don't really feel bad for the other criminal in this situation either

I will not defend him. In my opinion, not only does he warrant a sacking he also deserves to be prosecuted.

You know who gets beaten by police? People up to no good or being in a place they shouldn't be. No sympathy.

I hope if you are ever in need of the police, i.e. robbery, attempted murder, fire, etc, the police do not come to your side since you seem to not like any.

You've never broken the law? Beating by the government is acceptable for violations of law?

That is just as stupid as this other a-hole.

Notice this guy never raised an accusation of brutality. A cop noticed it and reported it. Somewhere in this investigation, there was a good cop.

Seriously. The suspect didn't even report it. They couldn't swept out under the rug very easily. But Gretna police saw it, and went out of their way to go after him. I'm completely impressed by their initiative. They had a shitty cop, and did the right thing.

Great job Gretna. This is how you earn the pubic's trust and respect.

he going to be charged with assault/battery? If not, why?

Because he has a badge. Why would they prosecute the guys that give them convictions? It's bad for business.

Plus we all know that if a cop is beating you he has a good reason. Just do everything they say and no one gets hurt.

Well, the cop just committed a violent crime himself.

Police should only serve the ones that actually pay their salaries- most often property owners.

I have said it before. Some software developer needs to design a program that when someone calls 911 it scans through their social media, text, etc and if the caller has said "Frick the Police" and they are ALL "Pigs", we are better off without them, etc that the software simply hangs up or gives a response reminding the caller of why the police will not be there to help.

I'll give you low-paying. But you do know that cops are able to get away with much much more than your every day Joe. Even the good ones. And I won't give you thankless.

I didn't say I had all the kinks worked out but I would find it hilarious if someone said "F the Police" then when they need/want police, they basically tell them heck no.
