Several media outlets reporting this. Anyone in the area with eyes on the situation that can provide an accurate estimation of how bad this actually is?

I saw a Facebook post earlier today that the road was sagging in that area. I guess it gave out.

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Emergency officials expect Greenwell Springs Road will remain closed north of Hooper Road for several days after collapsing due to high water Saturday, May 11.
Mayor Clyde Martin Jr. says a drainage pipe began sinking days ago and finally gave way Saturday after extensive flooding. Repairs cannot be made until next week at the earliest, but that depends on if the water drains from the area.
The Department of Transportation and Development urges drivers to avoid the area.

Hope all the moms from that area reliving their teen years at the NKOTB concert in NOLA tonight are aware of the closure driving home late tonight.

Work was to start on 13th. Mother Nature said hold my beer because I can't wait until then. Once again we are reactive vs proactive when it comes to maintenance.
