Spent another great weekend here, always love the friendliness of this place!

I got to visit campus and get the family some LSU gifts.

Chimes was on point as always. We even went over to Mansurs on Blvd. Great spot as well.

We are getting ready to pack it up and back to Arky, I won some $$ last night from the game so is there anything I need to see before we head back?

Also need a recommendation on the best spot for lunch.

Thanks guys!!

Take a friendly day stroll down Plank Rd.

Finish it up with lunch at Tony's.

In the Lod Cook Hotel on campus. Not sure of its hours. Heroman's florist in Town Center has a nice LSU section as well. Laniappe Frame shop at Bluebonnet & Jefferson has some nice shirts

But just google one. Any have something good.

Parrains looks legit

Ill take a look. We had a wedding last night. One of the LSU baseball guys got married to a friend so I was kicking it with that crew. He graduated last year and plays for the Mets farm team now I believe.

We did more Lol

Went downtown last night and all that. Just making the list short and sweet.

I didn't get the chance to visit the historical parts. A little upset with that but me and the lady friend are still feeling it from the drinking. That's why I was asking for the best lunch in town today.. got a long drive brother

Which way are you headed back to fayetteville? I would imagine 10w then 49N?

If so, go to Glenda Creole kitchen in breaux bridge. Cheap and awesome food.

Then stop at billeaus in south Lafayette for some boudin to take home. Good stuff.

I'd say get some pie, but Arkansas has better pie than we do by far.

Baton Rouge was a great place to grow up in the 80's and 90's. Wouldn't want to live there now. Glad you had a good visit though. Visit north Baton Rouge your next visit. Wonderful night life!
