Obviously the BRBR sets a very low bar for top business leaders.

"The Lack of equity in our city."

That is new buzzword for we want more money and equal outcomes for everyone that is a minority.

Houston Business Journal allows people to pay to be on their list, I wouldn’t be surprised in Baton Rouge is the similar.

Try putting something like this on a resume....the problem is he can't be specific because he has never had an actual job.

Jesus. the bar to make this list must be incredibly low. Anyone who’s been employed, not on parole, and has paid their taxes under the age of 40 is a better candidate for this list.

My cousin was on that list 6-7 years ago. He's a surgeon. I'm sure he likes being lumped in with fricking Gravy now

Name one metropolis/city in the history of mankind that didn't have a chasm along financial lines. You will never eliminate the slum/ghetto/shite part of town. If you live outside of it, you can only hope to contain it. If you live in it, you can only hope to escape it as soon as possible.

You can NEVER make the quality of life equal over an entire city.

The progs don't want equal opportunity anymore because the results still aren't the same.

Translation: we need to tear south Baton Rouge down to north Baton Rouge’s level.

Kinda want to read the whole thing to see how bad the nominees are that Gravy made the list. Too bad for pay wall. Guess I’ll have to go by Brew Bachers and take a copy

He basically owes all of this to Connie Bernard. He really had no traction anywhere until Connie started shopping online during the Liberty/Lee High renaming. Then that rant went "viral"

Nah, Gravy was loved and cherished here well before that rant went viral. His head just got bigger when it went viral and he started shooting for bigger targets. “I couldn’t win city council, but I can win US representative now!”
