If you were BRPD, would you want to live in Baton Rouge? The black community has pretty much declared war on all cops in BR. They have killed police officers just because of their occupation. No way would I live in a city where you are considered an enemy and a target. At least they still come in to work in Baton Rouge to help and attempt to make it a safer place, which is impossible.

When I hear him say stuff like the 90% contracts going to white men, I wonder if he’s really too ignorant to know that contract go out to bid. The government is not going to base the decision off of race.

Are their minority owned businesses that can do the job?

Did they bid on the job?

Is their any indicator that a white owned business was chosen over those bids?

Come to the argument with some data and we can talk. Until then, please shut up and quit with the ‘BR racist’ crap.

I’d love to see a minority owned business get a big contract. I’d be happy to see it if it was the most capable and best priced bid. I think most white people feel this way.

It’s not our fault Coastal Bridge is owned by a white guy. (Assuming it is but I have no actual clue. That’s who little skin color matters to me in this sort of thing.)
