He was? I've watched it three times and never noticed.

Why is it so difficult for you to google or look up his albums on your own?
It's not difficult for me to go look up his catalogue. People in here have said he's a rare musical talent worthy of a Grammy. I'm curious what his best stuff is?
Why is it so hard, if you're such a fan, to just give me a couple of examples?
Generally, if I'm trying to turn someone on to new music I give them some examples. I don't just tell them to go listen to a bands entire catalogue with no direction and get back to me.

I've been to this one a couple times and it was never amazing to me, but people tout it as the best restaurant in the country. What am I missing?
wait...you are confusing me
I thought you hadn't listened to or seen DG in anything?

Fight me IRL.
There's no reason to fight. I'm a Beatles fan. I love some of their music, but you have to be able to admit the truth. They're not some kind of radically talented awe inspiring magical act. They're generic pop music at its pinnacle.

Because I think you should have to find this on your own. It's really not that difficult to go on Spotify or some other streaming app. Put in his name and start listening.
I also find it comical that you shite on him without listening to any of his material on your own.

I don't think I've ever listened to him unless he has some songs I've heard but don't know are his.
Ive watched 30 Rock and seen his cameos in a few other shows, and I've seen Spiderman Homecoming a few times, but I didn't even know he was in it. He seems to be pretty forgettable in front of a camera. Can't wait to see him try to replicate Billy Dee Williams.

Then you're not worth discussing music with.

When did I shite on him? Link?

You said you didn't know why he was popular or why people viewed him as talented. But then you want people to hand over his material. All the while, if you really wanted to hear or watch some of his material. You could easily google "Donald Glover".

Well, so far what I've learned in this thread is that if you don't find Childish Gambino, Bruno Mars, and Kendrick Lamar the greatest musicians ever you're an old white racist dude who just doesn't understand.
Did I miss anything?

War On Drugs won best rock album and nobody seemed to have an issue with that

Kendrick Lamar fricking blows!! How anyone likes this dude baffles me.

How's that strawman? No one ever said anything like this.

That's not shitting on him. That's a legitimate question.

But then you want people to hand over his material.
Correct. I'm curious, from the people who says he's a tremendously talented singer/musician/actor what is best work is. It's bizarre to me that you can't understand that request.

Of course I can. I don't want to go watch every scene of every show he's ever been in and then listen to every music he's ever made. Just give me the choice nugs, man.

But I've yet to see something that shows he he's a talented actor. Naming a movie that not released doesn't help this argument. And yall have yet to give me one song or album to go listen to.
Atlanta is very good and I think DG is great in it.
As far as songs go, I don't like his rap much, but his nomination for album of the year was well deserved. If you like soul / funk, you'll like the album. My favorites from it:
Redbone
Have Some Love

Apparently Atlanta is a choice nug. I guess I need to check it out too.

Oh I do, but then again I expect nothing less from a pop culture shite show like the Grammy's.

Because any time anyone critiques them in this thread, the responses all revolved around being too old to get it, too white to get it, or just straight up racist.
