Nephew that played football for Rice died a few years back from Fentanyl. His mom and dad absolutely devastated. Had back pain and got some painkillers from a teamate. OD and that was it.
He was big, cut, and in excellent phyical condition. Not sure how average people could possibly survive it.

This is what terrifies me about my kids. Personally, I didn't do a single damn drug in high school or college. I don't drink and don't smoke either. I know I can't expect the same from my two kids and with this fentanyl shite coming into the country left and right, thinking of my kids at parties in the future terrifies me. Such a small, tiny amount of that shite will kill you. We've got to get it under control.

I’m an “educate” person when it comes to teaching young adults about sex. I’m totally a “scare” person when it comes to drugs. Not outright lying. But I’d tell them if they haven’t done a mass-spec on the white powder in front of them, assume there’s fentanyl in it.

Just what it says, homemade weed vapes, edibles, etc. the packaging can be purchased online and makes it all look like it came from a legal state. Nearly none of the prepackaged shite like that sold in non legal states is legit. No telling what’s in any of it.

I know someone who picked up some blow for a party earlier this year. They tested it before partaking and it was positive for fentanyl.

It is killing so many young people and it doesn't get talked about on the national level at all. Here are the latest stats
107k in 2021. That is probably more than double the number that have died in the Ukraine war and 247 times more the number who were killed in shootings with police of any race in 2021.
