I think he and Marilyn Manson are in the same category. Smart, talented guys that I'd rather listen to than look at.

Manson was smart, and as far as musical talent goes..he was smart at keeping the right people around to get what he needed.

ETA

He could play the nose-flute beautifully though. Held his own with some of the best in the world. I watched him hit a solo once...man..

The kid is a great musician and he knows what the hippity hop fans wanna hear. Can't fault that model.

QFT Guy is playing the game because he knows how. Every time I see him expand outside of the 'game' he impresses me.

There are clips of Post doing covers when he was much younger before the face tattoos and his talent is apparent, he honors the material but makes it his own. Guy knows how to actually connect to his work as a musician and then he doesn't take himself too seriously. Refreshing combination.

Not that it matters I just dont understand the face tat movement

He's said he got the tattoos because he thought he was ugly as frick.

Ole Post isn't my cup of tea, but that kid's really talented.

I didn't realize the ultimate yardstick of talent was playing covers. Lotta hacky bar bands will be really glad to hear the standards have been lowered so drastically.
