You should be pumped. How old are your kids? Did you know that college is free for everyone in Germany? I'd make sure my kids learned the German language.

we lived in a small village about 30 minutes from Ramstein. I got to experience a part of Germany that most didn't get to see who lived on base. I wouldn't have traded that for the world.

The internet is great if you live in a big village or town. Cheap as well. I paid 20 euro a month for 100 down.
Don't waste your time with AFN. You have to buy the box which is like 300 brand new to use off base. Just stream and download everything.

Yes they provided a washer,dyer and fridge etc, along with temp furniture.
