I’ve been inactive so long I would have to retake the bar. I wouldn’t know how to practice modern-day law.

rare serious response here: I would think with your background that you would be a desirable hire for a law firm like that, and should you get on with one you could get back up to speed and they would be able to fast track you into getting ready for the retake

I recommend beating the bushes and coercing someone into hiring you, you could parlay this into a lot of money, as a practicing attorney of course, but you could make a lot of side dough as a paid motivational speaker at continuing ed seminars, and at EAP(professional type,) seminars, I know a guy that makes a killing doing that, he knows just the right price to set to stay below the need for comptroller approval and is pretty much a time filler at things like that, $3-5K a pop
