I don’t know how much thought the democratic leadership gives it. But their policies are dreadful for the middle class. If you want to live on welfare, great, the Democrats have you covered. And if you’re rich, the Democrats are there for you too.

I caught a little of the Michael Berry show on the way home from work yesterday. He quoted some frightening stats about the increase of Democrats registering in Texas going on the past 3 or 4 years. A 345k increase in one year. Multiply that by 4 or 5 and you've got a state no longer solid red. There has already been a marked increase in Democrat judges elected in Texas.
