BUT..
You should "infer" when it comes to self-defense. The term "immentent threat" comes into play. The guy had a gun and was reaching for it. For what purpose? Either way, it would be with bad intent once a weapon is pulled. Situation was handled as well as could be expected. As noted, "brandishing" a gun is a crime.And thus the arrest.
