I don't have a problem with transgendered people being baptized. A mental illness should not keep you from having the stain of Original Sin wiped away from your soul. However, transgendered people serving as godparents is something I have to see the Church's reasoning on before I can make an informed opinion.

Some of you mouth-breathers see a catchy title and just run with it without even reading the source documents.
A person who is trans and has come to a realization of the sinfulness of that decision, and who has genuinly repented, is the ideal candidate to receive the sacrament, pick up their cross, and live for Christ moving forward.
Someone who is still proudly and unrepentantly trans is not allowed to be baptized by the Catholic church.
