My job requires me to drive all over this state but this stretch of I-10 pisses me off like no other piece of highway in the state. People will stay in the left lane forever, no matter how many times people pass them in the right lane.

I drove to Nola this afternoon and the amount of people on this stretch that are completely oblivious that they are holding up traffic is astonishing. I’m 41 years old and maybe it’s me getting older but this particular stretch of highway is the worst in the state for this. Pay attention when you’re driving and get the hell out of people’s way.

If you drive drive as much as you claim you do then you know weekend drivers are much different than weekday commuters

I have never seen a difference in this area. I-20 is better than I-10. There I said it

Meh
Come drive from Nola to Slidell on I-10 if you want some real fun. It’s like a Indy 500 race except for the drivers have much lower IQs

Gonzales to Nola is a piece of cake.

Gonzales to Baton Rouge makes me want to punch babies. Especially where the Sunshine Bridge enters I-10

Gonzales is North of Sorrento. Why would you go to Sorrento from Gonzales to get to Baton Rouge?

I’ll accept that as long as the slow pokes stay the frick out of the left lane

More than likely he’s confused about your comment stating “where the sunshine bridge enters I-10”.

Reason being, the sunshine bridge is located about 10 miles away from I-10

The “Sunshine Bridge” exit is marked up and down I-10. Everyone knows what you mean when you say “The Sunshine Bridge Exit”.

I think he’s confused bc he didnt realize I was implying the traffic is worst coming from Nola to Baton Rouge starting at the Sunshine Bridge exit vs the traffic from Gonzales to NOLA.

So explain how Sunshine Bridge traffic entering I-10 (Sorrento) would be an issue going from Gonzales to BR? Feel free to use crayons for me.

Give I-110 from BR to Baker a ride sometime. If you dare.

That is a full-blown circus on concrete.
