I went from the mp59 to the TM mb. I do love my mp59 but probably need a little stronger flex in the shaft and I like the lower flight of the mb. Only reason I got the TM is because I got 1/2 off.

From my understand, MC doesn't come with regular flex. I could get stiff flex, but I feel like I will be taking 2 steps back and one step forward doing that. I don't think I have quite the swing speed for that yet.

You should definitely be able to get a regular flex shaft. Maybe the stock shaft is stiff in the MCs, but if you're ordering on TM's website or through a legit dealer, they should be able to get you the shaft you need.

The great thing about Taylor Made irons is if you buy a set and don't like them, they will come out with a new set in a month

TM are marketing wizards. They put longer shafts and jack the lofts to make it appear that their clubs are longer. But if you hit them well,

TM may have been the first, but they aren't the only ones. Callaway's lofts are even stronger than TM's in their X hot/XR line. AP1s have very similar lofts to the TM irons as well. None of it matters as long as your gaps are correct.

I played the R9 b head for a long time. Loved them.
