Used to office in the Galleria area, things must have gone downhill.

Yet all the businesses around it are thriving and not experiencing crime? Hmmm

That's good to hear, because my girlfriend's best friend and her fiancé just bought a condo over there.

I've had no complaints since I bought in 2024 except my ditch in front of my driveway does not drain well (Silver Street). My financée and I frequent Coastline Pizza on Houston Avenue, which I recommend trying out.

Those golf / other sports simulator bars last until the novelty is gone. People will go once, realize it sucks, then never go back.

There was a similar concept here that opened gangbusters but lasted less than two years.

it's a very easy out that would cover up the fact that the bar failed.

At least it's better than "couldn't find people who wanted to work." 95 percent restaurant and failed restaurant and bar owners post-COVID rolled with "couldn't find people who wanted to work," even though most bars and restaurants fail within 5 years.

The business model is shvt and the owner is just blaming crime.

How do you know this? Because crime is definitely an issue that closes down a lot of businesses and has gotten worse thanks to democrat policies.

Is this really about political parties?

There is only one party that promotes justice reform (aka little to no accountability for criminals). They have implemented their policies and we see the results of them being implemented. This isn’t about feelings, it’s about dumbass policies that have gotten hundreds of people killed.

Nope, dumbass leftist are going to be shown the results of their crap policies.

• Rosalie Cook — Stabbed to death by a repeat offender with 67 prior arrests, who was out on two felony PR bonds.
• Sherniqua Banks — Shot and killed in front of her young son; the suspect was on a PR bond after a felony charge while on parole for violence.
• Samuel Olson — A 5-year-old boy bludgeoned to death; suspect was out on a felony PR bond for assault and hid the body.
• Martha Medina — Run over and killed; suspect was a repeat offender out on $150,000 bond for capital murder (noted as low-cash in context of reform debates).
• Joshua Sandoval — Shot during a home invasion/robbery; suspect allegedly part of a crime ring and free on multiple felony bonds.
• Gabino Duarte — Fatally shot during an attempted robbery; suspect out on multiple bonds.
• Caitlynne Guajardo — Stabbed (pregnant at the time); husband allegedly out on multiple bonds.

That’s 162 people that aren’t with their families anymore because of democrat policies. Something completely preventable.
