Headed to Biloxi and want to stop and golf along the way. What's a decent course preferably close to the interstate?

Carter Plantation in Springfield, La. About 30 minutes past Baton Rouge, and an hour away from Biloxi.

Carter is the best on the route unless you want to play in Biloxi

Nothing wrong with Carter, but I'd rather play a few of the casino courses in Gulfport, MS instead. Grand Bear and Windance specifically.

The Oaks is in Pass Christian...go south on Menge and follow signs.
Grand Bear is pretty good as well.
My favorite down there is Fallen Oak but you have to stay at the Beau.

Carter plantation
Oak harbor
The bridges
Grand bear
All on the way and worth a look.

The preserve is just east of Biloxi but is one of my favorites.

Fallen oak is also great.

The Oaks in Pass is a great course.

They also have Hooter Girls as cart girls.

Nope. Redoing the bunkers. Played there on Memorial Day and the course was as good as I have seen it. They're spending 2.5 million on the redo.

The Oaks off of mississippi exit 24... or windance...both are close to the interstate and in fantastic shape right now.

Grand Bear

Is fantastic, but not exactly close to the interstate. Its worth a little extra drive.

Carter is close to me, and I play regularly over there. Fantastic layout.
