Looking for a place to repair a custom cart. Have used a local repair shop and am extremely dissatisfied with the work and service. Paid a forturne for repairs and have taken the cart back twice for the same issue. Looking for a different option.

Ascension carts is excellent. It takes a while though as they’re basically the only game in town

Just push it into a water hazard and buy a new one.

This. They will pick up your cart and not even begin to look at it for 3 weeks. Once they do look and determine what's wrong, they will need to order parts...which due to CV19, take forever to come in. Once they finally come in, it will take a few days to repair. They will give you the total price, which is high, and deliver your cart to you a few days after you pay for it (if you're lucky with their delivery guy's schedule).

I used Dana's Golf Cart repair a couple of years ago and he was much more reasonable price wise, but he took a couple of weeks to diagnose and repair too.

I 2nd this recommendation. In my limited experience with work carts, he is fair and honest. I think he is a one may show so he may it may take him some time, but if I remember, he told me upfront how long.

Look for a mobile mechanic to come to you.

Saw a truck that does mobile RV repair so I guess there's someone out there that can fix a golf cart.

Great advice.

Since you guess there’s someone it would be a presence to him.

What’s wrong with the cart? They are insanely easy to repair.

Not to hijack but has anyone changed to lithium batteries?

Mine loses it charge after about 30 min of riding and just changed the batteries about 1.5 years ago

I haven’t changed to lithium yet. I will when my Trojans are done.
