Their pre-screen marketing numbers they did were off about 90% on demand. The bakery that makes the really good bun couldn't meet the demand.

Back in the 90’s, the Popeyes in Laplace had a dark meat special: 8 pieces, two large sides, and four biscuits for $8.88. Heaven on earth. The special stayed that price for quite a few years

I realized after looking at it that it looked a little sad, taken from above in bad light didn't do it any favors but I didn't do it for the gram.

It’s been back at a majority of the Popeyes for a few weeks. Just not been advertising it or putting it on the menu.
