My MIL is experiencing terminal agitation pretty bad today. This is awful to watch.

Terminal agitation is a form of restlessness, confusion, or distress that typically appears in the last days to two weeks of life, often caused by organ failure, chemical imbalances, pain, infections, or medication effects.
What Terminal Agitation Is
Also called terminal restlessness or terminal delirium.
Common near the end of life as the body slows down.
May come and go and vary in intensity.
