We had storms around us but honestly the wind was not terrible where we were. The seas just started to build and get closer together. We were forecasted to get 1.2feet at 4s at the buoy we were going towards which was 65 miles out. We got about 25 miles out and started seeing 4 footers with some bigger rollers. We stopped and fished a hour our two, caught two red grouper keepers and some snapper and headed back in. We worked around tampa bay for a few hours and caught some mangrove snapper keepers for one of the guys to take home and called it around 3pm. The ride in was slow and wet AF
Thats one of the reasons why I wont guide offshore. I will do some nearshore trips, weather permitting, but you really need a big sled to comfortably guide out there. I will stick inshore
Chad and I will try again later this week before the season closes on Gags.

Good morning, folks. 
The Canadian's plane was 1.5 hours late and the traffic was backed up until hell wouldn't have them, at 12:30 AM, tryna get into arrivals. I picked her up in departures, which had zero traffic.

I tell myself not to get excited about faux fall weather, but yet I get excited all the same when the temp start with a 6 and the humidity isn't in the 80's when I check the weather before heading out.
