LCA both Halley and Pompeo have made problematic comments about Trump. He is not taking any chances of bringing in anyone that would cause problems like in the prior administration

Yep so far he's crushing these appointments.
He really didn't have much choice to have some of the swampers around in his first administration, hence not as much was able to get done as it could've. Even still, a lot did get done but he spent a lot of time in the Russia hoax, peach mint, etc. Now he knows how to play the game and will have the right people around him.
