Chicken, sausage, shrimp gumbo with sweet potatoes.
Going to go play in my boat.
Tonight is the night that I used to gig my giant flounders at night. One night I had a 7 1/2 pounder , a 7 pounder , 7 six pounders and a 5. It was a nice string of flounders.
They closed the season till the 30th I think. I’m too old to go poach some
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.
And I have 8 pounds of coffee being delivered today.
Going to go play in my boat.

If ya have to travel, travel safely. If you are the head chef for tomorrow, watch the knife.
Really looking forward to the Twixt & Tween season, which begins after Thanksgiving. Twixt Tday and Boxing day is the cookie & egg nog days. Also, the days Tween pre-Tday and post-NYday diets.
Wife [no pics] has been baking for days and I have resisted being quality control. Thankfully, she has been giving away most of the cookies and tarts.

Mom finally heard back from her oncologist….no good news so far. Looking like they don’t think more chemo will help so they may leave her alone for now.

Oh Teech, I’m so sorry to hear abt that.
fwiw, I wish we’d have chosen hospice earlier than we did. Not sure if y’all are to that point yet, but it can be a tremendous blessing in vv difficult times.
I’m always a phone call away if you want more of my experience with it.

That all seems like good stuff. The 30th will be time to load up on flounder then. 
I am down to aboot 4 lbs., so I see a Sam's run this weekend after my baby leaves.
