Had a seizure for the first time yesterday surrounded by co-workers. I'm 29 and work out and run virtually every day. 6'3" 199. I'm still freaked out by it. I came to consciencness surrounded by paramedics but declined to go to the hospital, even though my company was willing to pay for it, because I was so embarrassed and in general shock.

Have any of y'all had a random seizure?

Morning.

Happy Sunday OTrs of the GMT.

RocketPower13,my buddy has to take anti-seizure meds because of a head injury. If you have the Insurance you should see a Nuerologist(sp).

I hope you never have another one,but there's a reason you had that one.

God Bless.

Today in History

1629 Charles I of England dissolves Parliament and rules alone for 11 years.

1785 Thomas Jefferson is appointed minister to France.

1848 Congress ratified the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, ending the Mexican War.

1864 U. S. Grant became commander of the Union armies during the Civil War.

1876 The first telephone call ("Mr. Watson, come here. I want you.") was made by Alexander Graham Bell.

1948 The body of Jan Masaryk, Czechoslovakia's anti-Communist foreign minister was found. Officially a suicide, the real cause of death has never been proven.

Thanks bud. I really appreciate the advice. It was traumatic and unexpected so I'm still processing it but hopefully it turns out to be a one-time occurrence.

Morning everyone. Off to work.

Rocket: a first seizure as an adult is not something to dismiss as a possible one time event. You need to be evaluated now, first by a primary care MD and ultimately by a neurologist.
