1970 – Vietnam War: Kent State shootings: The Ohio National Guard, sent to Kent State University after disturbances in the city of Kent the weekend before, opens fire killing four unarmed students and wounding nine others. The students were protesting the Cambodian Campaign of the United States and South Vietnam.
1988 – The PEPCON disaster rocks Henderson, Nevada, as tons of Space Shuttle fuel detonate during a fire.
1989 – Iran–Contra affair: Former White House aide Oliver North is convicted of three crimes and acquitted of nine other charges; the convictions are later overturned on appeal.
1998 – A federal judge in Sacramento, California, gives "Unabomber" Theodore Kaczynski four life sentences plus 30 years after Kaczynski accepts a plea agreement sparing him from the death penalty.
2007 – Greensburg, Kansas is almost completely destroyed by a 1.7 mi wide EF5 tornado. It was the first-ever tornado to be rated as such with the new Enhanced Fujita scale.

I went for an interview for an office job today. The interviewer told me I'd start on $2,000 a month and then after 6 months I'd be on $2,500 a month.
I told them I'd start in 6 months.

Hitting the pond with BnB2 this morning before the rain
Pond is stocked with big ole bream, hope he catches every single on of them. Might even try to get him on his first fish on the fly rod. Then it's home to build forts inside, watch 90's Batman cartoons and eat anything we want

I hunted Frogs on the Golf Course with my 12 yr old Great-Niece til 8:30 last night.She caught 7 Frogs.Found 17 Golf Balls.Caught 2 little Snapping Turtles.
Fishing this morning and Movie this afternoon.

Good Morning Tidalmouse Don’t know if y’all are keeping the frogs but the season is closed in Louisiana during April-May. I would hate to see your niece catch charges and a record instead of frogs.
