Only 150k? Buy the Denali and save $20,000 dollars.

Mechanically, I agree. But the GM finishes (leather, interior components, electronics) don't hold up over time and wear much quicker than Lexus in my experience.

Only 150,000 miles?

Get which ever one you think looks nicest. Neither of these are BMW's or Audis. 150,000 miles should be no problem.

It has a 5.7 Liter. Rated for 8000 lbs. If towing is your main concern, get a Denali.

If you like a real nice vehicle for 99% of the rest of your driving, get a 200 series.

Lexus LX 570

We looked at one about two months ago. I truly had no idea what they cost prior to going to the dealership. $94K was the one we looked at.

We have a 16 Land Cruiser and a 17 LX570. I think the out the door price difference was around 14K. The Lexus IS certainly a lot nicer than my LC, but really hard to go wrong with either.

One of the funny thinks that bugs the shite out me with Yukons... seems like every other one you see has a headlight out.

I've owned the Lexus and own the Denali now. Both will go 200k miles if taken care of. If you need rear cargo space, Denali. The Lexus rides better and is better built but the Denali has come a long way with fit and finish. Neither are bad with maintenance. The Lexus will cost more upfront but resale isn't close. 120k mile LX's still bring premium dollar which should figure into total cost. I personally prefer the Lexus because of the ride. The Denali is rough with the 22 inch wheels. My two cents.

I'm at the exact same cross roads, time to replace the wife's Range Rover hse and been looking at the Yukon xl, Lx570 and pretty much nothing else. I find there are very few options in this size range, I won't buy another Range Rover, not that it's been that bad of a car and I actually really like it I just hate the dealer in BR. If you want to repair it they look down their nose at you for not just buying a new one. Previous car was a land cruiser and she doesn't want to go back to that. I like the lx bc I think it will hold its value better on resale.
