Unions breed lazy, whinny, employees and corrupt union bosses. Unions were good in the early days but have evolved into a cancer on the American workforce. Thank goodness union membership has been decimated over the years. Good for GM to stand up to these socialistic, couldn't care less employees.

Unions have bankrupted too many great American corporations. Unions need to keep dying until they drop dead.

Typical union cliche. The unions have convinced you you're a pussy and need them.

I grew up in a union household and though my dad only said it once in awhile, his friends were always lamenting the "little man" or the "working man."

My grandad always said that unions were for the little man to keep from being pushed around. Because I trust his opinion from 35 years ago, case closed. Unions are for us....the workers of the world!

So TD is like the Union and is holding me down? Actually, when I think about it, TD definitely kills my work productivity.

I might need to go on strike.

Only pussies are afraid to be a single individual negotiating against a multibillion dollar international corporation.

What, are you and all the resources your $19.50 an hour wage can afford afraid of a fair fight with General Motors Corp.?

It's amazing how the people at Toyota and Honda seem to manage working for massive corporations without representation....

frick the Union Leaders

Those jackasses will continue getting paid and using that Black Lake resort, that all the UAW heads use, while peeps out on the street getting $200ish(back in 1999 it was) in strike pay, eventually.

It's $250/week now.

The union has not kept up with inflation. The workers should go on strike.

Oh wait...

You’re being paid to work, are you not ?

ETA: but wait, I'm such a valuable commodity to the company that they can afford to let me spend their dime on me posting on TD, right????

You gotta have some balls to strike when they probably wanted to reduce the force anyway.

Their leaders are their downfall

They sold their soul to 1 party, and they shite on them during the time they all got bail out cash. Obama really took a huge dump, and Slick Bill did as well, with NAFTA.

This is why I laugh at union members that vote Dem. So many of them are just led around by the nose and don't think. Or are incapable of independent thought.
