I never said that. I said they weren’t acting on their own.

You two are the only two retards arguing he technically did his job. In that case, it’s exactly the same.

Im arguing you not hiring a Spanish person because you suspect them to be illegal when all their paperwork checks out is discrimination.

Have you ever done the hiring at a company? Do you own your own company? Manage a company?

Your original argument is no one gets sued from verifying paperwork.

Which I never made those claims. Talk about not being able to read.

"That guy looks Hispanic; he must be illegal. Let's not hire him."

Said no HR person ever.

If so, you’re doing an incredibly poor job at that

Yes, have you? You do account reconciliations and fill out I9’s, you have no real responsibility

Not my problem.

Americans but just not your kids because they are “above” that type of job.

What type of job is that?

How ironic.

Does AI/tech come do the job?

Don’t know.

Possibly. Or, AI can be utilized by my kids to make life easier, (it’s what they are both doing currently…using their intelligence and work ethic to make their life better).

then they’ll be just as jobless as the deported.

So you support these “sweatshops” (your term - not mine)?

You really do hate the working class.

No, it was to me saying you can't discriminate against someone and not hire them just because you think they are illegal or based on their nationality.

You seem to think you can without potential repercussions.

And then went doubling down talking about Jose and Manuel are poor and not running a huge fraud operation.

Jose at $10/hour doesn't need to run a huge scheme to obtain fake documentation for himself.

E-Verify is not full proof. It verifies more illegals than catches.

Oh and BTW, LA is still not the worst taxed state as you claimed weeks ago. Another fricking idiotic argument from you.

It’s like you don’t even know what e-verify is.

This retort would only make sense if the statement was just if they just filled out an I9

I get it’s not fool proof, but what more you expect from an employer? A full background check including sending agents to do background interviews?

If he is wholesaling meat across state lines that means his facility is subject to Federal Inspection by the USDA. They can walk into his business at any time and inspect the health and cleanliness of his business , the health and safety of the workers and inspect all his records related to such things.
There's no way he's going to risk pissing those folks off. If they find violations they can shutdown his business and order all his inventory destroyed.

I have no idea if this applies to other federal agencies.

I think this is one of those cases where people have their anger pointed in the wrong direction.

I'm not mad at the illegals that work in these meat plants. I'm mad at the corporations that offer such terrible pay and working conditions that only desperate illegals and felons would ever consider taking the jobs.

They need to make the jobs better for their employees. And I'd happily pay a little bit more for meat at the grocery store if they did that.

You don’t even need to. Corporate profits and management pay is at all time highs. That can be redistributed to workers and the bottom line and everybody wins

Lol he knew. Just about every meat plant out here they pays shite wages has a ton of illegals.

Until we re-create a bottom of the barrel workforce in this country, many of these businesses can’t work without them.

That said, at least they got rid of these Omaha Nebraska dead beats and can bring in the high school kids to do this stuff. Probably stopped a whole bunch of crime and dilapidated neighborhoods can start to recover.
