Just want things to get somewhat back to normalcy... kids should be in school

Got a granddaughter living with me this year because the schools in Shreveport area suck so badly, and they decided to lock it down. She was extremely outgoing, now seems more withdrawn.

The legacy of COVID lockdowns for kids will be even more attachment to social media and less human interaction, followed by massive mental health issues.

Hold up. Explain. That wasn't a troll. Removing Fauci from Pence's committee is just a phone call.

Or let me ask this. As Fauci is so damaging to America, does it piss you off that Trump and Pence are the only two humans alive that weren't smart enough to see it? And do something about him?

This story looks like it pertains to kids right? Memphis public schools still aren't open for in person learning, I'm sure that's not the only place in the country. That might not be full on "lockdown", but it's pretty detrimental to the kids

We go back Monday, all the %’s here in Williamson Co TN are WAY down vs before winter break. Couple that with we all got Covid over the holidays Rodin that antibody train mane.

Because you know fricking well the fallout that would happen if Trump did that.

Look at what happened when Trump fired Comey, and that dude was a legitimate shitbag.

So set me right, Wise Owl.

Why is Fauci still on Pence's committee and has been from day 1. Give all of us the answer.

That's a cop out. He's removed his very own cabinet members with the highest levels of clearance before. With constant media reeeee. Fauci is the untouchable? Really?

This year is going to be even worse.

Spend some time away from this board and get signed up for the vaccination. I took it and I haven't died yet. Then 2021 has a chance to be better.

Did the federal government shut the country down?

No. They didn't. Youre point is incredibly idiotic. But youre a prog, so its expected.

Once the fog clears (if Kamala and Biden ever allow it), we are going to be terrified what we’ve done to our country and even more importantly our world. Yes mental health is going to be horrific, but what I’m most worried abroad is the supply lines being disrupted. This is something that has been on my mind since the very beginning.

I’ve been obsessed with China investing in Africa for well over a decade. The Chinese were just honest with me both with themselves and the media that their investment in Africa is essentially the most costly and horrific insurance policy in human history. Save for some peace deals, notice how we haven’t heard dick from the Third World since March. There are no Western journalists remaining in these places. Now I’m not saying China is starving (save for in their western provinces), I’m saying they’ve been stealing a ton of food from Africa during all this.

And now you get to what we the West have done. For a week last month, you couldn’t find any lettuce in Denver. Early on in the pandemic there were tons of meat shortages. What does that mean for people living in Somalia or Afghanistan? Are we exporting food during this time? I don’t think much.

I think millions have died around the world over starving to death between China and us knowingly disrupting to supply lines. This is so sick what we’ve done to our country, our youth, our mental health, and the world with a disease with over a 99.9% survival rate. I’m thinking more people are going to die due to our reaction to Covid than if we had done just nothing.

Yep. The supply chain is already damaged for a lot of things. It's a global issue right now.

Exactly. Fauci didn't shut it down, either. He doesn't even work for the CDC. Another Trump led department.

BTW, Fauci isn't even the Chief Medical Advisor to the President. There hasn't been one of those since 12/19.

I agree! It's a travesty states are doing what they are doing. Fauci didn't shut this country down. That's all I'm saying! But if he's such a virus to this situation himself, he could easily be removed!

Doing the exact same thing he's doing in this thread. Making no sense and in some derangement about something that only works in his head.

You better still wear your mask and social distance. Because reasons.

And we still need to limit restaurants to 25% capacity while allowing certain chain stores that pump large amounts of lobbying dollars to congress to remain wide open.

Yep, in 2018 the narrative was "We hate big business and love small mom and pop stores."

Look at what we've done.

Small mom and pops cant offer anywhere near the same level of bribes....err..."lobbying dollars" as the big box stores. Therefore they're expendable and Lowes and Walmart must be allowed to operate as normal. For reasons.
