Glenn Beck with a pretty heartbreaking story how Covid has affected him

Not going to spoil it, but this is affecting tens of thousands of families across this country. And we have just been expected to sit here and take this bullshite while we all go insane. De Blasio dancing on Times Square “I get to dance and do the ball drop, because I’m fricking special. Now you shut the frick up and do as you’re fricking told! Oh what, your 15 year old daughter tried to kill herself over despotic laws I’ve enforced and don’t obey? Boo Hoo! Well tell her to grow the frick up and to recognize whose in charge. I’m saving lives here!”
This year is going to be even worse. Between Trump voters feeling betrayed and others finally realizing that Trump was a symptom and not the disease and things are not going back to normal, they’re going to snap. Not saying a Hitler is going to take power, but this year is going to be like being in 1932 Weimar Germany. People aren’t going to take this for more than a year, I’m not even sure if they will for another two weeks.

It’s the lockdowns, not Covid.
Very important distinction
Very important distinction

Is this where we all post Melt! Snowflake. Or is he one of the enlightened untouchables?

Where are there lockdowns right now? LA is pretty locked down, but I'm not familiar with anywhere else that is in lockdown mode.

Those prolonged lockdowns are fricking insane and are causing more damage to our economy, mental health, and domestic lives than the actual pandemic. We are seeing more depression, more substance abuse, and more domestic violence because of these lockdowns. Women's shelters and psych hospitals had to shut down for months. It was a disaster for my state and many others.
People that are trying to be fiscal hawks are criticizing these Covid relief efforts. I understand their frustration especially when so much of it is going to stupid shite that has nothing to do with Covid and everything to do with enriching members of congress.
But there were a lot of people that were doing everything right going into 2020. Their businesses were doing well. They were paying their rent and handling everything properly. They had developed their customer base and were providing good jobs to a lot of people Then their state told them to shut down for 10, 15 or even 20 weeks in some cases. It's one thing to be prepared for a 2 week shut down from a blizzard, hurricane, or tornado impact. Very few small businesses can handle shutting down for 2-3 months at a time.
These authoritarian state governors broke those people's livelihoods. They should be held responsible for making them whole IMO. It's not a bail out. It's restitution.

This story looks like it pertains to kids right? Memphis public schools still aren't open for in person learning, I'm sure that's not the only place in the country. That might not be full on "lockdown", but it's pretty detrimental to the kids

Glenn Beck is a turd.
A broken clock is right twice a day. And he's right about how we've completely ignored the social, psychological, and economic consequences of our authoritarian responses to this pandemic.

Who cares? That’s something no father should have to deal with.

I live in NETx now. I don't have many restrictions at all. Masks at some places or restaurant seating but pretty much free as a bird. We all are for the most part.
So why is Beck pissed about NY or CA? Doesn't he want to see them burn anyway?

He doesn’t mention them, it’s just De Blasio, Cuomo(s), and Newsom are the best examples of the heartless hypocrisies. Last year was the year of Nero. Our leaders fiddled while Rome burned.

Most of LA wide open. Most parish presidents and sheriffs appear to just be quietly ignoring JBE

No one wants to see innocent people go through unnecessary hardship -especially children.. Don't let your hate cloud the fact that Beck isn't wrong on this particular subject.

I just don’t understand how restaurant and bars are the biggest targets by the government. It’s beyond ridiculous tbh

But he's not simply talking about C19. Read it again. He's ranting about Trump and voters just as much.
For 11 months Covid has been for the cucked and weak. Now, since Beck screamed about it, everyone is sympathetic to someone struggling? If yes, ... proud of y'all. A little empathy for all isn't a bad thing.
