Why? I was willing to give you mine.

My favorite experience was the boss that went on a tirade about how dishonest I was for not telling them I took an interview elsewhere. Everyone else at the company was big time excited for me but my brand new direct supervisor just went on and on (loudly) about my lack of integrity. It made me feel good about that choice.

Be prepared for that attempt to save you- that gets awkward

already got that planned. we had a conversation a few weeks ago about how excited he was when he started this company. Im not even telling him I have another job lined up. Just that this isn't my dream. I need to go find that elsewhere. Plus I don't want to live in BR anymore.

It doesn't, that's why you just tell him the truth. Especially if you've worked there for a while

If you tell them its not your dream you can't go back. Just be honest. Like many others have said, it's business nothing personal. If you tell them its not your dream you have shut the door for ever returning. (You're going to say I would never return, but life happens so why would you shut the door for no reason)

I've left two jobs since being in the professional world. I stayed 3 weeks after giving notice on the first one, and I stayed 6 weeks to train my replacement on the second one and would stop by some evenings and weekends to help out my replacement as well (for a small consulting fee). The only people I've seen told to leave the day of their notice were hourly employees and salesmen

I can't make one on my primary account, it doesn't work.

I used an old gmail account that I forgot about. It's all good, castor.

lol if it is this or picking up odd jobs in the home Depot lot?

I am always fearful that easy white collar life is going to end and I can run the blue collar work like I did as a highschooler

thanks dad
